COOKEVILLE KAMALA MCDANIEL SMITH Kamala McDaniel Smith of Cookeville passed away at the age of 42 on July 4, 2020. She was born July 19, 1977 in Cookeville, TN. Kamala graduated from Cookeville Senior High School and attended Tennessee Tech. She was the manager of Fashion Bug for fifteen years and later the manager of Guess in Lebanon. Kamala always had an eye for fashion and loved to shop. A little fiesty, and a little sassy, she was a friend with a tender heart and someone you could count on. She was an adoring daughter that any parent would be proud of. Kamala had a love for animals. She had special fur babies, a 14-year old dog, Macy, a 14-year old cat, Neo and a new kitten, Grayson. She will be missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by her adoring and loving husband, Adam Smith and son, Corbin Smith, her parents, Martin McDaniel, and Debi and Terry Presley, mother and father-in-law, Mary and David Smith, brother, Sammy McDaniel, brother-in-law, Ben Smith; aunt and uncle Rev. Harold and Sandra Walker, grandmother, Lois Davis, and nephews, Cole and Baylee McDaniel. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Bill McDaniel, grandfather Bud Davis, and maternal grandparents Kenneth and Dorotha Daniel and her brother-in-law, Warren Smith.
