Julean Curtis

Funeral services for Julean Crawford Curtis, 79 of Cookeville, will be Saturday, October 16 at 3 PM at Dyer Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Bro. Danny Allen will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 PM until service time. Mrs. Curtis died Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at her home. She was born June 22, 1942 in Overton County to the late Warner Alexander and Willie Mae Newberry Crawford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Harlan Curtis on December 16, 2016, sister Irene Baldwin, brothers Lundy Crawford and Roosevelt Crawford. She was a retired seamstress with Acme Boot Co. of Cookeville. Julean attended Circle Drive Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter Patricia Curtis, granddaughter LeAnna Hutchings, nieces Sandra Crawford and Peggy Baldwin, nephews Rick Crawford and Joe Baldwin, several great nieces and nephews.
