Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Brown Padgett Frogge McCrobie, 88, of Cookeville, and formerly of Monterey, will be held Thursday, August 21 at 1 p.m. from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Welch Memorial Cemetery in Monterey. Rev. Whitney Mitchell will officiate. Mrs. McCrobie's family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 pm until 8 pm and Thursday from 11 am until 1pm at the funeral home. She died Monday, August 18, 2014 at Bethesda Health Care Center. She was born July 11, 1926 to the late Enoch S. and Mary Alice Phillips Brown. She was a long-time member of Monterey First Baptist Church. She is survived by children Jimmy Padgett (Billie Jean) of Nashville, Ronald Padgett (Wanda) of Harrison, TN and Gerald Padgett (Gina) of Cookeville, grandchildren Eva Fuller (Joseph), Janice Ware (Bryan), Jennifer Padgett, Denise Padgett, Tricia Broom (Chris), Erin Kirouac (Jason), Abby (Curtis) Prichard, and Hannah Manske, six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Also survived by sisters Ellen Sisco and Rita Parker (Jack), three nephews and several great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandson, Jonathan Padgett; sister, Noble Yalazon, brother-in law Carlen (Jr.) Sisco. Widowed three times, she was blessed to share her life with husband and father of her children, Granville Padgett, husband Willie O. Frogge, and husband Hosea Pete McCrobie.
