Joyce Palmer

Graveside services and interment for Joyce Evelyn Palmer, age 81 of Cookeville, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday February 1 at Phillips Cemetery. Dwight Henry will officiate. Joyce passed away Sunday January 30, 2022 at Signature Health Care of Putnam County. She was born December 31, 1940 in Algood, TN to the late Edgar David Swearingin and Zella Andrew Johnson Swearingin. Joyce worked in bookkeeping and tax preparation.. She loved caring for her pets. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah (Eddie) Clark of Cookeville; Bruce (Debi) Palmer of Baxter; sister, Barbara Whiteaker of Algood; grandchildren, Katie (Douglas) Martin, Lauren Clark, Bradley Clark, Dakota (Irah) Palmer, and Montana Palmer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Aubrey Swearingin.
