Joyce Hinson

Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Marie Hinson, age 79, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 6 at the Cookeville chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Rev. James McCowan will officiate. Interment will follow in the Roberson Cemetery . Her family will receive friends Monday from 11 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Hinson died Tuesday November 30, 2021 at Eastland Memorial Hospital in Eastland, TX. She was born March 21, 1942 in Algood, TN to the late Joe and Elva Ramsey Langford. Joyce was a loving and devoted homemaker. She enjoyed time spent outdoors hunting and riding horses. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Archie B. Hinson (who died February 18, 2003); son, Phillip Miles Hinson; sister, Mary Langford; and by brothers, Kenneth Langford, Joe Milton Langford and Billy Langford. She is survived by a son, Troy Hinson of Eastland, TX; grandchildren, Zach Hinson, Noah Hinson, Krista Brown and Emily Hayner; four great grandchildren; sisters, Nola Cumby, Judy Copeland, Priscilla Morris, Elva Bilbrey and Jean McCowan; and by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
