Joyce Ann Ortlepp

Memorial services for Joyce Ann Ortlepp, 74, of Baxter, will be Friday, July 17 at 3 PM at New Beginning Assembly of God 2193 West Broad Street, Cookeville, TN. Bro. Myron Greer will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church after 11 AM Friday until service time. Interment will be in West Cemetery in the Burgess Falls Community at a later date. Mrs. Ortlepp died Sunday, July 12, 2020 at her home in Baxter from injuries in a fire. She was born August 10, 1945 in Fairbury, Illinois to the late Edward Miles Zea and Helen Yvonne Miller Zea. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by grandchildren: Blake Aaron Ortlepp and Trinity Page Ortlepp, and a brother James Zea. She enjoyed collecting dog figurines and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 54 years (Married May 8, 1966 in Illinois) Ronald "RON" Ortlepp of Baxter, daughter and son-in-law Melissa and Daniel Arnold of Memphis, sons and daughters-in-law Patrick and Sandi Ortlepp of Cookeville, Ed and Teresa Ortlepp of Baxter and Scott and Teena Ortlepp of Gainesboro, sister and husband Jeanette and Melvin Sanquist of Minnesota, grandchildren: Garrett Ortlepp, Timothy Roe, Jordan Ortlepp, Trace Ortlepp, Kimberly Norton and Taylor Norton, great-grandchildren: Amaris Ortlepp, Kayson Ortlepp, Paxton Ortlepp, Rowan Ortlepp, Adalynn Roe, Kyleigh Medford, Gracelyn Williams, Jonathan Norton and Kataline Norton. Due to COVID-19 precautions social distancing will be observed.
