Funeral services for Joshua Kyle Lawson, age 30 of Cookeville, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday October 12 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Bro. Randy Bybee and Bro. Jeff Guillote will officiate. Interment will follow at Mayberry Cemetery in Jackson County, TN. His family will receive friends Monday from 4 - 8 p.m. and again Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of services. Josh passed away Saturday evening October 9, 2021 at his home. He was born July 7, 1991 in Dayton, OH to James Lawson of Gainesboro and the late Lorrie Katz of Cookeville. Josh was a member of Pippin Church of Christ and employed at Livingston Auto Traders. He is survived by his wife, Samantha Mayberry Lawson; his children, Mason Alexander and Alaina Lee Lawson; brother, Shawn Lawson of Cookeville; sister, Danielle Lawson of Florida; grandparents; Kay Katz of Wilmington, NC; Boyd and Pam Lawson of Gainesboro, Shirley Thompson of Kentucky, Leota Moss of Cookeville, Malissa Moss Mayberry of Cookeville; sisters-in-law, Amy Mayberry (Michael) Hale of Cookeville, Alicia Mayberry Bean of Cookeville; nephew, William Hale; and nieces, Maddie Hale, Peyton Bean and Aloini Mcilvanin. He also leaves behind close family and friends. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Mike Thompson and Howard Katz.
