Joseph Monaco

Joseph N. Monaco Sr. age 93, of the Cumberland Cove Community, passed away Thursday morning October 24, 2019 at Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation in Monterey. No services are planned. He was born October 15, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Vincent James and Marie Gioia Monaco. Mr. Monaco was US Army veteran serving during World War II. He later worked and retired as Vice President of American Bolt and Screw in New York, NY. He is survived by three sons, Joey (wife, Bonnie) Monaco; Vinnie (wife, Margaret) Monaco, and Vince Monaco all of the Cumberland Cove Community; two brothers, Carmine Monaco of Zephyrhills, FL, and Neil (wife, Agnes) Monaco of Long Island, NY; five grandchildren, James (wife, Kristy) Monaco, Jason (wife, Jessica) Monaco, Brian Monaco, April Cruz, and James Vincent (wife, Shelly) Monaco; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Peggy Louise Monaco; two brothers, Pat and Tony Monaco.
