DYER CHAPEL-Joseph Kyle Lesko, affectionately known as Kyle, was born on April 27, 1983, in Cookeville, Tennessee. He passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 of injuries sustained in a construction accident. He leaves a legacy of hard work and kindness that touched many lives. Kyle dedicated his career to Mike Taylor Construction Co., where he was known for his unwavering work ethic and deep passion for his job.
Throughout his life, Kyle embraced a variety of hobbies and interests that showcased his vivacious spirit. He found joy in playing pool, engaging with scratch-off tickets, and cherishing moments with his beloved dog, Krow. His big heart was evident in his willingness to help others, and he treasured the time spent with family and friends.
Kyle is survived by his father, Danny (Lisa) Lesko of Cookeville; his mother, Alisa Jones of Crossville; and his daughter, Lexie Skye Lesko and son, Wesley Kane Lesko both of Cookeville. He is also remembered fondly by his brothers, Kirk (Tiffany) Lesko of Cookeville, Klay (Lynn) Lesko of Nolensville, TN, and Johnny Mac (Breanna) Lesko of Cookeville. His grandparents, June (Glen) Farris of Cookeville, along with a niece and nephews, Gage, Gavin, Beau, and Andi Lesko, will carry on his memory. Additionally, Kyle is survived by a loving extended family, including uncles and aunts, Debbie & Kent Clark, Jim Lesko, Dewey (Linda) Jones, Gus (Tonda) Jones, Joey (Tracy) Jones, Tim (Suzanne) Jones, and Greg Jones, as well as numerous cousins, dear friend Mike Taylor, and all of his co-workers.
Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dan Lesko, Junior & Jeannette Jones, Linda Gail Fleming, and Erik Wesley Fleming, as well as a cousin, Ashley Clark.
A Celebration of Life service is being planned for a later date. We will update when date and time is available.
The family suggest memorial contributions in Kyle's memory be made to This Is Living Ministries, 156 County Farm Rd., Cookeville, TN 38501.
Kyle will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of hard work, love for family, and friendship will continue to resonate in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
