Jorge Romero

Graveside services and interment for Mr. Jorge R. Romero, age 87 of the Dripping Springs Community of Cumberland County, will be held Wednesday January 21 at 12 noon at the Mayland Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Bowman officiating. His family will receive friends immediately following the services. Mr. Romero died Monday morning January 19, 2015 at his home. He was born January 21, 1927 in Havana, Cuba to the late Miguel and Michaela Romero. Jorge was a retired electrician with General Motors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mae (Jo Anne) Romero. Survivors include two sons, Jorge R. Romero JR of Chicago, IL, and Michael Romero of Saint Clair Shores, MI; daughter, Monica Romero of Boston, MA; brother Rene Romero, and sister, Isabella Morales.
