John Wayne Burgess, infant son of John and Tonya Burgess of Cookeville, died Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. No services are planned. In addition to his parents, he is survived by maternal grandparents, Stan and Sharon Thompson of Baxter; paternal grandparents, Gary and Carol Burgess of Cookeville; two aunts, Nicole Thompson, and Cari Simeroth and husband Greg; three uncles, Andrew Burgess, Will Burgess and wife April, and Gary Burgess and wife Annie; and numerous cousins.
