John Torchia

Memorial services for Mr. John Wayne Torchia, 63, of Cookeville will be held Sunday, August 12 at 12:30 p.m. at West Haven Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Hembree officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the church. Mr. Torchia passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 in Kindred Hospital in Nashville. He was born September 20, 1948 in Hudson, NY to the late Pasquale and Myrtle Selter Torchia. Mr. Torchia was a member of West Haven Baptist Church. Before moving to Tennessee, he worked for L&B Industries in Hudson, NY. He is survived by his wife Kelly Christensen Torchia of Cookeville, son, Jon Torchia of Cohoes, NY; daughter, Marcia Torchia of Catskill, NY; three sisters, Mary Van Dyke and husband Teddy of Kingston, NY; LeeAnn Torchia of Catskill, NY and Kathy Cassera and husband John of Stottville, NY.
