John Sewell

Mr. John Clark Sewell, age 62 of Algood, passed away Thursday, March 25th at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date. John died Thursday March 25, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born November 17, 1958 in Cookeville to the late James Arthur and Lela Clark Sewell. John was a truck driver who worked for various companies throughout his work career. He enjoyed spending time outdoors camping and at Sunset Marina with family and friends. He enjoyed companionship with his dog, Lego. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Dezarae Marie Sewell. He is survived by his wife of 3 years, Rosalind Sewell and her family; stepdaughter, Abigail Thomas and her fiance, JP Ledbetter; children, John Clark "JC" Sewell, Robert (Katie Hoffmeyer) Sewell, Lakeshia Elizabeth Schwoob, Travis Smith & wife, Brandon Smith & wife, Tonya Smith, Angel Smith and fiance James, Ashley (Andrew) Colson, Zachary Sewell, John Arthur Sewell, Legina (James "Squeak") Jackson; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Mark (Sheila) Sewell of Cookeville; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and many friends including Lisa and Timmy Smith.
