John Higgins

Mr. John Richard Higgins, age 59, of Crossville, passed away suddenly Monday September 17, 2018 at his home. The family has chosen cremation and a gathering for friends and family will be Friday September 21 from 4 - 6 p.m. at Dyer Funeral Home. John was born August 31, 1959, to the late Raymond Richard and Alma Pirhonen Higgins. He was employed at Lowe's of Crossville. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. John is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Michael) Nance of Columbia, TN; two sons, Ryan (Michelle) Higgins of Pam Bay, FL, and Steven (Rachel) Higgins of Sanford, NC; three sisters, Nancy Sidwell, Kathleen Jones, and Christine Higgins, and one grandson, Caleb Higgins. In lieu of flowers, contributions to help with arrangements may be made to the family by contacting the funeral home. Dyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
