John Henley

Graveside services and interment with military honors for Mr. John Robert Henley, age 35, of Sparta, were held Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Boiling Springs Cemetery. Houston Austin officiated.

John passed away Friday, January 8, 2021.

He was born May 4, 1985 in Cookeville to Maudie Henley and the late John Thomas Henley. He was a 2004 graduate of Livingston Academy and attended Middle TN State University.

John proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a Operation Iraqi Freedom war veteran. He had a big heart and was always willing to help others.

In addition to his father, John Thomas Henley, he was preceded in death by son, John Gabriel Henley.

In addition to his mother, Maudie Lloyd, he is survived by wife, Christina Miller Henley; sons, Jacob Miller, Noah Henley and Abel Henley, and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends served as pallbearers.
