John Green

John Spencer Green, 76, of Cookeville died Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Signature Health Care after a brief illness. Honoring John's request, no services are planned. John was born November 22, 1941 in Millington, Tennessee to the late Hart and Bernine Armour Green. He graduated from Memphis State University and retired in 2005 as the Director of Pacesetters in Cookeville. John will be remembered for his kindness, his love for family, and his good-natured humor. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Green; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Tammy Green, James and Maria Green; daughter, Kelly Hodge and their mother, Janet Green; two step-daughters and sons-in-law, Andrea and Greg Gipson, Joanne and Jesse Williams; grandchildren, Spencer Green, Patrick Green, Emily Green, John Luke Green, Addelyn Hodge, Greyson Gipson, Cooper Gipson and Riley Williams.
