COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - John David Czischki Jr. was born on February 19, 1970, in Elgin, Illinois. He passed away suddenly on January 30, 2025, at his residence in Cookeville, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
John was a man who devoted himself to his family, displaying a caring and compassionate nature that endeared him to all who knew him. He was fiercely loyal and deeply proud of his children, Kayle, Madison, and John III "JD" Czischki, who were the center of his universe. His family-oriented spirit was evident in the countless hours he spent coaching their sports teams, including basketball, softball, baseball, and football. John not only supported them from the sidelines but also instilled in them the values of teamwork and perseverance.
In addition to his role as a devoted father and husband, John was a passionate fan of the Chicago Bears, proudly showcasing his loyalty to the team. His enthusiasm for the sport mirrored his zest for life and his deep-seated connection to those he loved.
John is survived by his beloved wife, Jamie Czischki, and his children, Kayle, Madison, and JD Czischki. He is also remembered by his brother, Tim Czischki. The impact of his warm presence and the love he shared will forever resonate in the hearts of those he leaves behind. John’s legacy of compassion, loyalty, and pride in family will continue to inspire all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A memorial service is being planned at a later date in Illinois.
