John Conner

Memorial services for Mr. John "Big John" Ernest Conner, 43 of Cookeville, will be held at 3pm Monday, March 17 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Lowhorn officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 2pm until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Conner died Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Cumberland House Hospice in Crossville, TN. He was born April 10, 1970 in Americus, GA to William Sparks Conner, Sr. of Jacksonville, FL and Kathy Diane Choate of Cookeville. Mr. Conner was a member of Stevens Street Baptist Church. He was a former workforce development agent for the State of Florida. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fianceé, Gina Knowles of Cookeville; two daughters, Jennifer Gunnoe of Jacksonville, FL and Julia Conner of Waynesboro; and two sons, John, and Winston Conner; all of Waynesboro, GA; brother, William Conner of Cookeville; two maternal grandmothers, Kathleen Ritchie of Jamestown and Mary Choate of Lawrenceville, GA; and paternal grandmother, Sarah Conner of Jacksonville, FL.
