BAXTER-Jimmie Ray Robinson, 77, of Baxter, Tennessee passed away Friday, September 30, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Robinson, a veteran of the United States Air Force, will be buried with military honors at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Baxter. A memorial service will be held Sunday, 3:00 p.m.  October 9, 2022 at the Boma Community Center (3500 Boma Community Center Rd. Baxter, TN).

Mr. Robinson was born December 14, 1944 in Double Springs and was the son of the late Elwood and Bessie Pritchard Robertson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Jennifer Robinson, sister Laura Nell Robertson, brother Jerry Robertson.

He was a 1963 graduate of Upperman High School in Baxter.

Jimmie retired as a stock clerk and cashier from Kroger of Cookeville with 34 years of service.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Sharon Dyal Robinson, a daughter, Michelle Shaeffer, five granddaughters, Taylor Rector and Nick Lauer, Ashley Rector, Brittany Rector and Mitchell Peek, Kaitlyn Rector and Braydon Cowan, and Lexy Shaffer and six great-grandchildren: Addyson, Hensley and Raylin King, Aaliyah Freedle, Rayleigh Rector and Jayden Chase Rector. He is also survived by one brother, Glenn Robertson and two sisters, Sue Lowe and Jan Jacobson, a sister-in-law, Cindy Dyal, the father of his granddaughters, Dennis Rector and a host of nieces and nephews.
