Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Jimmie M. Newsom, 75, of Cookeville, will be held at 1 pm Friday, April 12, in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home with Dr. J. D. Davis officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the Saylors Cemetery in White County. The family will receive friends Friday from 10am until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Newsom died suddenly Monday, April 8, 2013 at his home. A complete obituary will be posted later.
