Jewell Lafever

Silver Point-Jewell Sadler Lafever, 78 of Silver Point, Tennessee passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Jewell was born August 1, 1943 in Silver Point to the late Donald Dewey and Helen Frances Maxwell Sadler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Coy (Helen) Sadler, Bob (Hazel) Sadler, Joe (Emona) Sadler, Pete (Regina) Sadler and Harry Sadler, sisters: Billie Jeanette Sadler, Betty Rose Maynard Putnam, Freda (Roy) Walker, June Guffey and Marie Leons. She was a graduate of Upperman High School in Baxter and spent the majority of her life as a homemaker. She was the loving wife of Pat Ross Lafever for 58 years and was a mother, grandmother and a great grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 58 years (Married August 9, 1963) Pat Ross Lafever, her children Sandra and Joe Herren, Rhonda and Pat Lollar and Donald Lafever; her two grandchildren, Jason and Diane Shanks, Jerry and Jessica Shanks; five great grandchildren, Emma Ross Shanks, Jase Rayden Shanks, Lily Kate Shanks, Jett Ryan Shanks and Jerra Rose Shanks; two sisters Sue McGuire and Janet Holt along with many nieces and nephews and sister-in-law Caroline Sadler. In lieu of services, Jewell has chosen cremation and her ashes will be buried at a later date with her family in attendance.
