Funeral services for Jessie Aline Lloyd, age 79, of Cookeville, will be Friday, October 10, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel Of Dyer Funeral Home. Family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 am until time of the service. Burial will follow in the Smyrna Cemetery in Byrdstown. Mrs. Lloyd passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at her residence. Jessie was born November 12, 1934 in Byrdstown to the late Arnold Esco Brannum and Dulla May Sells Brannum. She was a great homemaker, sacrificial mother, and loving grandmother. She enjoyed fishing and working in her yard. Jessie is survived by her children; Angela (Ed) Quiter, Robbie Jo (Ray)Story both of Nashville, Lina Taylor of California, Sherma (Paul)Hancock of Gainesboro, Bradley (Tammy) Taylor of California, Jeffery Taylor Reese of Tucson Arizona, Katrina (Ben Wiggs) Ballard of Cookeville, Kolina (Sean Morrow) Hernandez also of Cookeville; grandkids.. Dawn (Edward) Blunt, Heather (Joe Watkins) Girdler, Shawn Wheeler, Brandon (Heather) Quiter, Nieves (Maria) Papion, Timmy (Mary Lou) Papion, Jeremy Keen, Justin Hancock, Johnny Bratt, Mistee (Travis) Limb, Zach, Tiffany & Micheal Taylor. Also she is survived by 41 great grandchildren; one Sister, Dorothy Devillauneva of Cookeville and one brother Cleston (Janet) Brannum of Byrdstown. In addition to her husband, Floyd Robert Lloyd, Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Jay Taylor, a daughter, Robbin Lloyd; granddaughter, Kristina Hernandez; one brother, Arnold Brannum and one sister, Agnes Brannum. Pallbearers will be family and friends with Bro. Ken Haney conducting the services.
