Graveside services and interment for Jesse Wade Jackson, age 87, of Cookeville, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday April 26 at the West Cemetery in the Burgess Falls community of Putnam County. Rev. Jim McAfee will officiate The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service. Mr. Jackson passed away Tuesday evening April 24, 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born March 18, 1931 in Cookeville to the late Tom and Emma Sherrell Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a Korean War veteran having served in the US Army. He was a retired carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Lucille Randolph Jackson; four sisters, Lorell Page, Betty Scarlett, Mamie Louise Martin, and Emogene Healey; and three brothers, Henry Stanley Jackson, Carl Estes Jackson, and Shipley Jackson. He is survived by a step-son, Thomas Kilgore; nephews, Bill Scarlett, Stanley Jackson, and Jim Jackson; great niece, Kim Maynard; and special friend, Catherine West.
