Funeral services for Patrick Jerry "GOOSE" Stewart, 76 of Livingston, will be Saturday, July 16 at 1 PM from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in West Cemetery in the Burgess Falls Community. Mr. Stewart passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Livingston Regional Medical Center. He was born June 17, 1940 in Putnam County to the late Dillard Arvil and Lydia Randolph Stewart. He attended Burgess School and was a member of Scott Avenue Baptist Church. He loved playing the guitar and at one time played with the Tennessee Outlaw Band. He loved the outdoors and cutting wood with his nephew, Barry Stewart. He also loved to fish. He was a retired band saw operator with Eagle Furniture Company. Survivors include sisters and brothers-in-law Lisa and Tyler Marshall, Pam and Paul Farish, Teresa and Gary Dilldine, Thelma Stewart, Susan Stewart all of Cookeville, brothers and sisters-in-law William "BILL" and Barbara Stewart of Livingston and Alvin and Patty Stewart of Gainesboro, step-brothers: Kenneth Franklin of Cookeville, Jody Delaney of Baxter, special niece and husband: Carrie and Larry Bussell of Cookeville, great-nephew : Alexander Bussell, and a host of other nieces and nephews. Bro. Steve Farris and his brother Bill Stewart will officiate. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Jerry's family will receive friends after 11 AM Saturday until service time at the funeral home. Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements (931)526-6111.
