Jerry Devolder

A Memorial service for Mr. Jerry Leroy DeVolder, 67, of Cookeville will be held at 11 am Sunday March 30 at the United Church of Cookeville. Rev. Gene Skipworth and Rev. Tom Eckert will officiate. A reception will immediately follow the service at the church. Mr. DeVolder passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born January 17, 1947 in Coldwater, Michigan to the late John and Flora Carr DeVolder. Mr. DeVolder was a longtime resident of San Francisco, CA where he worked for 27 years at Levi Strauss & Co. He moved to Cookeville in 2004 and has been in an active member of the United Church of Cookeville, the local LGBT community and the Cookeville art community.
