Jerri Lynn Dodd

A Celebration of Life Gathering of Family and Friends for Mrs. Jerri Lynn Dodd age 55 of Cookeville, will be Saturday March 21 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the River Community Church (1200 Miracle Road Cookeville). Mrs. Dodd died Tuesday morning March 17, 2015, at Upper Cumberland Hospice in Cookeville. She was born September 28, 1959, in Lincoln, Illinois, to Jerry Carlin of Cookeville and the late Judith Willis Carlin. Jerri Lynn graduated from Olympia High School in Atlanta, IL. She worked as a waitress and health care aid. Jerri Lynn was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bulls Fan. She never missed a NASCAR Race and Tony Stewart was her favorite driver. Purple was her color for clothing, jewelry, décor, and flowers. She attended every volleyball game at CHS and TTU, encouraging the players and calling them by name. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy Dodd, and brother, Michael Carlin. Survivors include her father, Jerry and her step-mother, De Carlin and two wonderful daughters, Lyndsay Dodd of Destin, FL, and Cody Dodd of Cookeville.
