BAXTER-Funeral services for Jeremy Lee Helm, 36, of Baxter, will be Wednesday, September 14 at 1 P.M. from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Tightfit Cemetery in the Boma Community of Putnam County. Jeremy passed away late Saturday night, September 10, 2016 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born July 18, 1980 in Cookeville. He was a 1999 graduate of Upperman High School in Baxter. He was a self-employed in construction. He loved to deer hunt and play golf. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Leftwich and F.D. Helm. Survivors include mother and step-father Karen Leftwich Thurman and Ricky Thurman of Baxter, father and step-mother Tony and Elaine Helm of Silver Point, fiancée Crystal Lynn of Baxter, children: Trenton Maynard age 14 of Cookeville, Kyleigh Helm age 12, Kloe Helm age 9 and Jada Helm age 2 all of Baxter, sister Kayla Helm of Baxter, grandmothers Ruth Carr and husband Randy of Baxter, Keeble Lowe Helm of Boma, special nephew Brady Barnhill and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Active pallbearers will be Thomas Kelley, Stephen Jackson, Chad Jones, Matt Haugk, Calvin Leftwich and Josh Scott. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 8 PM and after 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Bro. Herb Leftwich will officiate.
