Jenny Sue Fly Glossup

Funeral Arrangements for Mrs. Jenny Sue Fly Glossup, age 69, of Cookeville, will be Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Cookeville City Cemetery. Mrs. Glossup was born January 13, 1945 in Pulaski, TN to the late Odie Theron Fly and Mildred Hill Fly. She was a member of the Church of Christ who loved and enjoyed her family, and was known for her cooking, especially her biscuits. Jenny is survived by four children; Benita Richardson (John) of Monterey, Delana Michener of Cookeville, David Glossup (Tammie) of Monterey, and Audrey Clark (Jerry) of Crawford. She is also survived by one brother, Larry Fly, of Pulaski, TN and eight grandchildren; Heather (Timothy) Cowart, Bryon (Amelia) Guenther, Holly (Nathan) Elliott, Issaac Michener, Adam Michener, Joseph Michener, Kayla Clark and Jesse Clark. In addition Mrs. Glossup leaves five great-grandchildren; Jacob, Heidi, Alexander, Elijah, and Benjamin, as well as one niece, Melissa Fly Sumner, and a host of friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Glossup was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Theron Fly. Pallbearers will be family members. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the nurses and staff at NHC of Cookeville for their wonderful care of Mrs. Glossup.
