Jeanne Kuszmaul

Alma Jean Kuszmaul, affectionately known as Jeanne to her friends and family, passed away peacefully at the Waters of Gainesboro Assisted living on July 11, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on July 1, 1949, in Blanco, Texas, Jeanne was a vibrant soul whose laughter and love of life left an indelible mark on all who knew her.


Jeanne is survived by her son, Jeremy Ferrell, and his wife, Jennifer, Daughter Kendra Jackson. Jeanne's legacy continues through her adored grandchildren, Lillian, Madeline, Josephine, Ella, and Mack. She also leaves behind a close-knit group of nieces and nephews: Barbara Shaw, Joseph Kent, Traci Brown and her husband Mike, Michael Viet and his wife Beverly, and Lynne Hughes and her husband Wayne, all of whom will fondly remember their aunt's zest for life and her ability to bring joy to every occasion.


Preceding her in death were her loving parents, John Marion Ferrell and Elizabeth Touchstone Ferrell, her cherished husband, Daniel Kuszmaul, and her dear siblings, John Ferrell, Evelyn Kent, Betty Ferrell, Wayne Ferrell, and Patsy Pagel.


Jeanne's life was characterized by her fun-loving nature and her great sense of humor. She had a unique talent for shocking people in the most delightful way, ensuring that laughter was never far when she was around. Her infectious energy and ability to see the humor in life's situations will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of her company.


In keeping with Jeanne's wishes, no services are planned. Her family will carry her memory in their hearts, celebrating her life privately, in ways that honor her vibrant spirit and the love she shared so generously.
