Janie Joe Woodard

Janie Joe Woodard age, 75 of Cookeville passed away on Sunday September 1, 2013 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born March 2, 1938 in Temple, OK. to the late Finis Franklin Brown and Pauline Stogner Brown. Janie was a very caring, compassionate and social person who loved her family dearly, enjoyed cooking for them and looked forward to spending time at the lake fishing. She was a member of Belair Baptist Church in Hobbs, New Mexico. Survivors include Kevin(Jennifer) Woodard of Cookeville, TN. Johnny Woodard of Hobbs, New Mexico and one daughter; Paula Kidd of Hobbs, New Mexico. Six grandchildren; Devin Woodard, Heather Woodard, Tyler Woodard, Brandon Kidd, Dustin Kidd and Tommy Watson, six great grandchildren; Daisy Woodard, Austin Kidd, Clayton Kidd, Rylan Kidd, Logan Watson and Michael Ray Watson. She is also survived by two brothers; Paul (Delores) of Wichita Falls TX, Gary Brown of Long View WA. Two sisters; Barbara (Bill) Allison of Baton Rouge LA, and Faye Martinez of Las Vegas NV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter; Kelly Woodard and one granddaughter; Anna Watson. Graveside services will be Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hobbs New Mexico.
