Janet Bush

Graveside services and interment for Janet Lee Bush, age 76, of Cookeville, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday August 20 at Double Springs Cemetery. Bro Kerry Higgins will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery. Mrs. Bush passed away Sunday evening August 18, 2019 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born March 30, 1943 in Detroit. MI to the late Silas and Opal Sliger West. Mrs. Bush was retired from Russell Stover with 27 years of service. She was a member of Taylor Seminary Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Terry) Savage, and Regina (Stan) McGinniss all of Cookeville; brother, James (Joyce) West of Baxter; and two grandchildren, Ginger and Sam McGinniss. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Eugene Bush; son, Terry Bush; sister, Hilda Vinson; brother, Bob West; and granddaughter, Jennifer Smith.
