Livingston Funeral services for Mrs. Ola Jane Crawford, age 94, of Livingston and formerly of Cookeville, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday November 28 at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Rev. Bob Pharris, and Rev. James Shenko will officiate. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Baxter. Her family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 - 8 p.m. and again Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service time. Mrs. Crawford passed away Monday November 26, 2018 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. She was born Wednesday November 26, 1924 in Putnam County, TN to the late Bedford B. and Annie Davidson Chaffin. Mrs. Crawford was a member of Livingston First Christian Church. She formerly was employed with Cookeville Shirt Factory, Wilson Sporting Goods and retired from C&M Clothing. She was well-known with family and friends for her good cooking. She and her late husband loved to travel and cook. Survivors include her daughter, Pat (Mike) Gilpatrick of Livingston; six grandchildren, James Crawford, Amy (Phil) Trammel, Michele (Herbie) Buchanan, Mitch (Michelle) Daniels, Wendy (Scott) Haney, and Marcy (Patrick) Randall; daughter-in-law, Carol (Bob) Day; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Crawford Sr.; son, James Edward Crawford, Jr,; grandson, Seth Gilpatrick; and eight siblings. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to Livingston First Christian Church, 320 Oakley Street, Livingston, TN 38570.
