Jane C. Hughes, 71 of Cookeville, died Saturday, January 13, 2024 at her home. Her wishes of cremation and no services are being honored.

She was born July 8, 1952 in Byrdstown, TN to the late Dennis Oak and Zona Cravens Buck.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Earl "BUD" Hughes on May 19, 2022, by grandchildren Kayla Pritchard and Taz Hughes, brothers Kellie, Shellie and Kerby Buck.

Survivors include sons John (Carrie) Pritchard of Indiana, Todd Pritchard of Cookeville, step-sons Benjamin (Estrella) Hughes of Florida, Geoffrey (Denna) Hughes of Indiana, step-daughter Candice (Todd) Schneider of Indiana, sisters Mary Pritchard of Indiana, Nellie Smith of Tennessee, 10 grandchildren.
