Jan Shuster

A graveside service and interment for Mrs. Virginia "Jan" Jane Shuster, age 79 of Cookeville, will be held Thursday, November 12th at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sparta. Bro. Clarence Deloach will officiate. Her family will receive friends preceding and following the service at the cemetery. Everyone is kindly asked to wear a face covering and to observe other social distancing measures. Mrs. Shuster died Sunday November 8, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born August 24, 1941 in White County, TN to the late Gurstle and Brian Lucille Loftis Bailey and was a 1960 graduate of White County High School. She was a member at Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Joe Bryan. Mrs. Shuster is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill Shuster; son, Tim (Jennifer) Shuster; grandson, Eli Shuster; all of Cookeville; step grandchildren, Lindsey (Josh) Feazell of Sparta and Justin Stevens of Cookeville; brother, Larry (Elwanda) Bailey of Blountville, TN; sister, Vera June (Frank) Hitchcock of Smyrna, TN; nieces and nephew, Melba Kaye Hitchcock-Bise, Alan Bailey, Nora Mott and Dana Paul; many wonderful great nieces and nephews.
