James Robert "Bobby" Ford

Funeral Services for James R. “Bobby” Ford age 61 of Cookeville, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011 from the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the West Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Bobby died Friday March 11, 2011 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born February 4, 1950 in Detroit Michigan to Nettie Grimes Ford and the late James “Chuck” Ford. He was a member of the Stevens Street Baptist Church. He worked a variety of jobs through the years and was a friend to all he met. Mr. Ford is survived by his mother Nettie Ford, four sisters Pamela Pulley (Donald) of Lebanon TN, Deborah Crunk of Nashville, Karen Joyce (John) of Cookeville and Kimberly Murphy (Jim) of Doyle TN as well as several nieces and nephews. Bobby was preceded in death by his father. Bro. Rick Lowhorn will be conducting the services. The family has requested memorial contributions be made to the West Cemetery c/o Jim McCaleb, 798 S.
