Memorial graveside service for James Edward Dunn, 64 of Gainesboro, formerly of Baxter will be held Saturday, March 14 at 10 AM at Pleasant View Cemetery with Bro. Fabron Nicholson officiating. Mr. Dunn died Saturday morning, March 7, 2015 at House Hospice of the Upper Cumberland in Cookeville. He was born March 4, 1951 in Putnam County to Juanita Hutchings Dunn of Cookeville and the late Isaac Dunn. He was a Driller in the Construction Industry. He loved his family, friends, babies and picking and grinning. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 24 years Phelissa Scarlett Dunn (Married October 12, 1990 in Gainesboro) of Gainesboro, daughter and son-in-law Amanda and Robert Campbell of Cookeville, sisters and a brother-in-law Donna Johnson of Cookeville, Annette and James Altes of Knoxville and Patricia Fields of Baxter, brother and sister-in-law Lonnie and Lori Dunn of Baxter, special friends James Allen and Gypsy, his pet cats Herman, Ethel, Fred and the late Maizie. Visitation will be at the cemetery following services. Memorial contributions may be made to Cookeville/Putnam County Animal Shelter, 2650 Gainesboro Grade, Cookeville, TN 38501.
