BAXTER-Graveside service and interment for James Mitchell Anderson, 82 of Baxter, will be Saturday, January 15 at 10 AM at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Baxter. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery for the service. Bro. Dylan Wood will officiate. Mr. Anderson died Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Standing Stone Care & Rehab in Monterey. He was born May 3, 1939 in Clay County, Tennessee to the late Burley Thomas Anderson and Ada Gray Anderson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Jewel Dean Newcomb and Jean Pitts, brother Cecil Anderson. He was a retired supervisor with Kingston Timers of Smithville with 31 years of service. He was a member of Double Springs Church of Christ. Survivors include wife of 57 years Martha Davis Anderson, daughter Teresa Lafever both of Baxter, sister Alene Pitts of Lebanon.
