He was a roofer.

Survivors include wife Tammy Brimer O'Connor of McMinnville, daughter Hannah Flatt of Cookeville, son Chris Smith of Sparta, step-sons Roger Manus, Jr. of McMinnville, Jonathan (Ruby) Manus of Pikeville, brothers Jason O'Connor of Baxter, Fred Landry of Michigan, 4 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
