COOKEVILLE CHAPEL - Jackie Ardelle Jewett, age 72, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Signature Healthcare of Putnam County. A devoted wife and mother, Jackie dedicated over 15 years of her life to her career as a waitress at Waffle House, where she was known for her warm smile and exceptional service. Her passion for her work was matched only by her love for her family.

She was born January 19, 1953 in Atlanta, GA to the late Jack Almond and Vivian Ardelle Baker Almond.

Jackie cherished her family, particularly her husband of 25 years, James Edward Jewett, who was her partner and confidant throughout their journey together. She leaves behind her sons, Rick Calahan (Lisa) and Anoy Calahan, as well as her beloved daughter, Maggie. The bond Jackie shared with her brothers, Bobby Ridley and Jack Almond, and her sister, Nita Almond, added joy to her life, creating an enduring family network filled with love and support.

Jackie's interests included a deep appreciation for her favorite television shows, particularly soap operas and the crime drama CSI, where she often found enjoyment and entertainment.

Jackie Ardelle Jewett will be remembered for the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her, her dedication to her work, and the everlasting love she showed her family. Her presence will be sorely missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
