Jack Lee Eubanks, 78, of Silver Point, TN, passed away on July 1, 2015. Jack had a 40 year career as one of the most successful guitarists in Nashville. A performer, session guitarist, and producer, Jack worked with diverse artists including Leroy Van Dyke, Charley Pride, Louis Armstrong, Connie Francis, The Chuck Wagon Gang, and The Platters. Jack was session leader/guitarist on six Alabama albums. He had several solo albums and four albums with the Nashville Guitars on Monument Records. Jack performed on Hee Haw, The Leroy Van Dyke Show, the Grand Ole Opry, and The Jimmy Dean Show. If you've listened to country music recorded from the 60's through the 80's, you've heard Jack play. In addition to his passion for music, Jack loved archery, camping, gardening, and his family. If you talked to Jack, you were sure to hear about his kids, grandkids, and his garden. Jack is survived by his brother and sister, five children, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many devoted friends. A memorial celebration for Jack will be held on Monday, July 6 from 1:00-3:00 at Goodlettsville Church of Christ, 401 S Main St., Goodlettsville, TN 37072. Casual attire please. In lieu of flowers, you can honor Jack's memory by planting some tomatoes or a tree, or make a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
