BAXTER-Funeral services for Mr. J. D. Randolph, 87 of Baxter will be Saturday, June 6 at 1 PM from the Baxter Chapel of Hooper Huddleston Horner Funeral Home. Interment will be in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Randolph died Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at NHC Healthcare of Cookeville. He was born January 9, 1928 in Putnam County to the late William Jessie and Hazel Viola Herren Randolph. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Claudia Randolph, sisters Fay Hunter and Kay Mires, great-grandchild Joshua Guinn. He was a faithful member of Bethlehem Church of Christ. He was a farmer and loved to fish. Survivors include wife of 69 years Wilma Hamilton Randolph (Married May 16, 1946 in Rossville, GA) of Baxter, daughter and son-in-law Gail and Bill Beuerlein of Cookeville,son and daughter-in-law James and Stacy Randolph of Baxter, 9 grandchildren: Margaret Guinn, Lynn Dearing, Randy Randolph, Tim Randolph, Mike Randolph, Dustin Randolph, Johnny Allison, Nikki Davidson and Amanda Dutrow, 18 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Randy Randolph and Keith Dearing will officiate.
