Hudson Goodyear Walker, age 16, passed away on May 2, 2016 at his family farm in Monterey, Tennessee. He was born on September 18, 1999 in Nashville, TN. He was completing his sophomore and fourth year at Montgomery Bell Academy. He was the son of Julie (Goodyear) and Hudson Walker and older brother to his sister, Sinclair, and his brother, Anderson. Hudson was an excellent student, a two-year varsity member of the MBA crew team and played piano in the MBA jazz band, in addition to being an active participant in many other school and extracurricular activities. He as an accomplished piano player and enjoyed playing everything from Jerry Lee Lewis to Johnny Cash. He was also an acolyte and confirmed member of St. George's Episcopal Church. Hudson was a true gentleman with a kind and generous spirit that made everyone he encountered feel special and happy. He put the wishes of others before his own and had a smile that was as unassuming and genuine as it was infectious. He especially loved being outdoors fishing, hunting, sailing and hiking with his friends and family. Hudson is survived by his paternal grandparents Babs and Bob Walker of Nashville, TN, and his maternal grandmother Sally Goodyear Johnson of Abita Springs, LA, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who all adored and admired him. In his short life, Hudson built a legacy of close friendships and his personal character and integrity will be a lasting inspiration to us all. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 3 pm at St. Geroge's Episcopal Church, 4715 Harding Pike, Nashville, TN with a visitation at the church prior to the service starting at 1 pm.
