Howard Lee Meadows

Funeral Services for Howard Lee Meadows, age 78 of Cookeville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home with burial following in the Arlington of TN Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, December 7, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Mr. Meadows died Sunday December 5, 2010 at Bethesda Health Care in Cookeville. He was born in Putnam County to the late Oliver and Ethel Meadows. Howard was of the Baptist faith. His family includes his wife Frankie, one son Kenneth (Teresa) Meadows of Cookeville. one daughter Brenda (Clay) Padgett also of Cookeville. He was grandfather to seven grandchildren; Samantha Meadows, Jennifer (Kurt) Doering, Rhoda Meadows, Andy Meadows, Gary (Stephanie) Henry of OK. Chris Henry and Timothy Padgett of Cookeville. Howard is also survived by eight great-grandchildren: Alex Steel, Gabrielle Lillard, Madison Lillard, Gracie Doering, Kaelan and Kylie Doering, Tyler Henry and Travis Henry. Mr. Meadows is also survived by one sister Louise Mitchell of Gallatin and one brother James Meadows of Lakeland Florida. He was preceded in death by both parents and one sister Marie Koger. Bro. Danny Hembree and Bro. Al Gaspard will be conducting Services.
