COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Howard Herman Grider , 64 of Bloomington Springs will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday April 7, in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Vickers Cemetery in Baxter , TN The family will receive friends from 5-9 Pm on Monday, April 6th at the Funeral Home. Mr. Grider died Saturday April 4th at Masters Health Care in Algood, TN He was born January 24, 1945, in Putnam County to the late Herman & Nancy Thomas Grider. Mr Grider worked for the Putnam County Maintenance Department for 28 years His family includes a son Michael Grider of Cookeville, a brother Dillard Grider and a brother Clarence and his wife Linda Grider of Baxter and a sister Billie Faye Palk of Cookeville, other survivors include several nieces and nephews and special friends Carlen Mahan and Dennis and Linda McBroom In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Virgil, Lilburn and Everett Grider and one sister Estelle Hutchings.. Bro. Carles Walker will officiate the service.
