Henry J. Hebert

Mr. Henry Hebert 86 of Cookeville, Tennessee died Sunday morning August 19th in the Live Hospice Unit at Saint Thomas Hospital, in Nashville, Tennessee of natural causes after having Alzheimer’s Dementia. He was born in Barre,Vermont on April 25, 1926 to the late Aime and Yvonne (Deselits) Hebert. He attended school in Graniteville Vermont and then served in the United States Navy as a SeaBee in the Pacific from 1944-1946. He then worked in the granite industry for many years as a polisher. He was also a Bishop and Pastor in the Church of God of Prophecy for many years. He is survived by his wife Lettie (Fouts) Hebert and a son Maurice Hebert and daughter in-law Rosemary Hebert, Penny Hebert, 4 grandchildren (Todd Hebert, Eric Hebert, Mandy Tomkins and Brian Hebert) and 7 great-grandchildren (Kayla Hebert, Jason Hebert, Krista Hebert, Maya Tomkins, Aubriel Tomkins, Sophie Hebert and Sam Hebert). He was predeceased by a son Michael Hebert. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Church of God of Prophecy on Brook Street in Barre, Vermont. Following the service, burial will be at the Wilson’s Cemetery in Graniteville, Vermont. No calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Live Hospice Unit at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee or given to a family member to forward.
