Hazel Vance Fleming, age 98 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away May 07, 2013. She was born and raised in Dickenson County and was of the Freewill Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her first husband Evis Vance and second Husband Grady Fleming, Parents John Mack and Mary Ann Green, two infant daughters Janet and Gloria and 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors Include: Children: Gerald (The late Edna) Vance, of Lucas, Ohio Roger (Julie) Vance, of Clintwood, Virginia Benny (Shelia) Vance of Bath County Brenda Kay (Dallas) Lowe, of Cookeville, Tennessee Ann (Jennice) Powers of Wise, Virginia Gary Norman (Joyce) Vance of Haysi, Virginia Valerie (Don) Damron of Clintwood, Virginia Polly Sue (Billy) Phipps of Cookeville, Tennessee Also, 1 sister Sarah Sutherland Perrin of Ruskin, Florida, nineteen grandchildren, fifty great-grandchildren, twelve great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, May 10, 2013 at 6:00pm with services being conducted at 7:00pm at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 11:00am at Mullins Funeral Home with Clergymen Joe Glenn Sluss and Wayne Keith officiating. Burial will follow in the Vance Family Cemetery, Reedy Ridge Section of Clintwood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Great-Grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Clintwood Senior Citizens and Eric. Her children shall rise up and call her blessed.
