Funeral Services for Hazel “Charlene” Roberts, age 82 of Antioch TN, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in the Chapel of Dyer Funeral Home, with burial following in the Stewart Cemetery of the Boma Community. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Roberts died Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Southern Hills Hospital in Nashville. She was born May 4, 1929 in Putnam County TN to the late Jackson Scott Keith and Flossie Cowan Keith. Charlene was retired from Wilson Sporting Goods here in Cookeville, and was of the Baptist faith attending Washington Avenue Baptist Church when she lived here in Cookeville. She is survived by one son, Michael Roberts (wife Brenda) of Antioch; a grandson, Andy Roberts (wife Kim) of Nashville; one sister, Brenda Keith Maddox (husband James) of Odenville, Alabama and a sister-in-law, Marie Keith of Decatur, Alabama. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, R. J. Roberts, one brother, James Keith and three grandchildren, Jennifer, Tina and Matthew Roberts. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Bro. James Maddox will be conducting the service.
