Harold Rutherford

A graveside service for Dr. Harold George Rutherford II, 79, of Cookeville, will be held at 2 pm Monday, October 5th at the Liberty Church of Christ Cemetery. Rev. Whitney Mitchell will officiate. Visitation will immediately follow the service at the cemetery. Mr. Rutherford passed away suddenly Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born May 3, 1936 in Loma Linda, California to the late Harold George and Mable Sturgis Rutherford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Ann Rutherford. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Nancy Sue McAskill Rutherford; sons, Harold ‘Trevor' Rutherford, Lloyd Rutherford and Roy Rutherford; daughters, Deborah Basham, Janice Schmidt and Nancy Camille Baumgardner, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and by a brother, Phillip Rutherford.
