Harold Bilyeu

Funeral services for Harold Dean Bilyeu, 75, of Cookeville will be held Thursday, August 2 at 11 a.m. in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery. Bro. Johnny Fox will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Bilyeu died Monday evening, July 30, 2012 at Bethesda Health Care. He was born August 10, 1935 in Putnam County, TN to the late Bennie Harmon and Minnie Thompson Bilyeu. Mr. Bilyeu was a member of Sycamore Church of Christ and attended Holladay Church of Christ. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army with 26 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Kronenberg Bilyeu, a stepson, Dean Bilyeu, three brothers, Bennie Bilyeu Jr., Claude Bilyeu and A.L. Bilyeu. Mr. Bilyeu is survived by two stepdaughters, Pamela Bohannon and husband James and Kathy Weatherby, two sisters, Dorothy Flatt and Bobbie Mitchell and husband Sam all of Cookeville and several nieces and nephews.
