Harold Anderson

BAXTER-Graveside services and interment for Harold Richard "Rich" Anderson, 88 of Baxter, will be Monday, April 29 at 1 PM at Crest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery for the service, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Mr. Anderson died Thursday evening, April 25, 2019 at Signature Healthcare-Putnam County in Algood, TN. He was born August 11, 1930 in the Buffalo Valley Community of Putnam County to the late Ewin P. and Oda Carr Anderson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Larry Richard Anderson, daughter Nancy Elizabeth Anderson Johnson, sisters Estie Tucker, Dean Tucker, Levola Carr, Vestie Oaks, Marjorie Jones, Cardova Roberts and Anna Mae Burgess, brothers Joe, Loyd, E.P., Kenneth, Noel and Ralph Anderson. He was Air Force veteran. He was a member of Boma First Church of God. Rich was a retired service technician with Pepsi of Cookeville with over 24 years of service. Survivors include wife of 70 years ( Married October 15, 1948 in Richmond, Indiana) Margie "Mick" Lackey Anderson of Baxter, grandsons Toby and wife Susan Johnson of Indianapolis, IN, Andy Johnson of Knoxville, great-grandchildren Caleb, Austin, Emilie, Georgia, Joshua, Anna and Tucker Johnson, host of nieces and nephews. Bro. Tim Sharp and Bro. Archie Whitefield will officiate.
